I’m a journalist based in Raleigh and Fayetteville, NC.
Currently, I’m an investigative reporter for the Fayetteville Observer and the USA Today Network where I develop in-depth enterprise pieces about local and county issues.
In summer 2020, I graduated from American University’s School of Communication where I earned an MA in Investigative Journalism and Public Affairs. While there, I covered Congress, SCOTUS, local events, arts and culture, race and women’s health. I also earned my BA in political science from UNC Charlotte and had a stint working in state government for a while.
I’m a native of North Carolina so, naturally, I love sweet tea, the beach, and Krispy Kreme donuts. I moonlight as a poet (sometimes) and a painter.
I am also a proud cat mom of Gus.
